The 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup will be the eleventh World Cup Cricket, and will be organized jointly by Australia and New Zealand. The location of the games will be evenly split, with the final location yet to be decided.
Hosting rights were awarded at the same time as the Cricket World Cup 2011, New Zealand and Australia had originally offered to host, and the Cricket World Cup 2019. The 2011 tournament was awarded the four Asian Test cricket played in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, by a vote of 10-3 (although Pakistan has lost their rights to accommodation). The International Cricket Council were sufficiently impressed to offer trans-Tasman which decided to award the world cup next to them.
Cricket World Cup 2015 will be the second time this tournament has been organized jointly by Australia and New Zealand, the first World Cup Cricket 1992 which was won by Pakistan, who beat England in the final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground . Certainly this is the first time since 1992 that a major international cricket tournament like the World Cup, Champions Trophy and the T20 World Cup held in Australia or New Zealand
